Bing.com [BETA]- The New Microsoft’s Search Engine Sucks

Microsoft recently launched their new search engine- Bing.com. The design of the site is really simple just like Live.com. When I tried to searched for keywords in which is my websites has a good ranking in Google, I found out that only few are visible in Bing.
I saw a newsletter from WebProNews with article about Bing.com. Matt Cutts[from Google] say something about Bing search engine result. According to Matt Cutts there is a irrelevant result for “matt cutts” keyword. You can see the article here.
One thing I noticed with Bing is the speed of search. The speed is really fast but I am sure if it has to do with their algorithm or in my internet connection.
Since it is still BETA, I guess they are still working to improved their new Search Engine. For now, Google is still the best search engine but i’m hoping that Bing will improve also so that Google will not be monopolizing the Search Engine Market.

Why is it, when I have the address for a website and I type it in, instead of going directly to the website I’m wanting, I end up at this stupid ‘Bing Beta’site…if I wanted to do a Bing Search, I wouldn’t have entered in the damn address I wanted.

I have a few friends who work for microsoft and they are starting to see what I have said for years. Aside from creating an OS that doesn’t make any since at all, microsoft is now attempting to get at the search engine market. It’s too bad that they are more that 15 years late. Not only that, but big companies don’t make breakthroughs they just attempt to make a better product of which they have already created and it most cases needs improvement. When Microsoft faned out on it’s product line they screwed themselves. Instead of concentrating on fixing and reestablishing their previous OS’s. Now back to BING. Has anybody heard of windows LIVE……thought so. Nobody has but now everyone and their grandmother has because it has a new name BING. Crazy huh…it’s called marketing and microsoft is terrible at it. Just the fact that microsoft has the idea of topling an incredible company like google in the search engine business is really funny. In fact it’s kind of like trying to reinvent the phone, but instead your enemies create speed dial. In all fairness Microsoft at it’s core is a great company along with google. But I think that Microsoft has lost it’s way. Instead of being an pioneer, as they were, now they have sunk to multi-platform software design. Like the Zune, Office, Frontpage, the list of products goes on and on but doesn’t really end up anywhere where you can actively and confidently say “OMG it worked…perfectly.” Microsoft should stay in the OS business and nothing else. Fire all the idiots who come up with money making ideas, because you have a bunch as it is. Go back to the big drawing board and make an OS were you can control everything and nothing runs unless you tell it to. Therefore giving the PC user full control of the speed, power and ideas they wish to create with there PC’s. Do what you do best Microsoft.(however good it may be.)
Oh yeah and thanks for Vista. My girlfriend just got it on her labtop and I had to hear her yell at it for several hours. Please for the sake of us all make something less confusing for the other people out there that aren’t computer savy. When you make something one way plz don’t change the parts that were there before.

Microsoft Bing would be the closet competitor of Google. but i still use Google because it shows more relevant results on the serp.

i have been evaluating the search results of Microsoft Bing compared to Google and they are comparable. Bing gives almost the same relevant search results just like Google.

Bing search engine gives almost the same search results as Google. Looks like Google will now have a tough competition when it comes to search engine technology.

I use both Bing and Google search engine and i dont see much difference in their search results. I use google for searching hard to find academic topics and Bing for general search.
