Just today I saw a box in the top-right of the forum, besides username, text about Google annalytics when I click it I was redirected to Google for authentication. You need to log on to you google account for the confirmation that you want link your Google analytics to 3rd party sites. I amaze coz I can now see my site stats even without opening my Google Analytics account.

Optimizing the page rank of a certain website in search engines such as Google or Yahoo is the main purpose of SEO. Web hosting is where and how a certain website is hosted. Combining both, involves the task of tuning and optimizing a website in order for it to do well in the search engine rankings. A link building technique that is done by making hosting accounts for websites and then assigning an IP address for each of those accounts.

Multiple Class C IP Hosting and SEO

Websites were made to drive traffic in because with traffic comes business and with business comes money. To drive traffic in, you need to rank high in these search engines. This is where multiple class C IP hosting comes in. Backlinks are thought to optimize a website for these search engines. The more backlinks, the better.

Naturally, these backlinks should also be relevant to the site but they should not come out as if they are coming from one and the same site. Different Class C IP addresses which enables webmasters to host their websites and blogs from separate nameservers on separate Class C IP addresses are provided in SEO hosting.

SEO hosting is unique because the IPs assigned to the server are diversified. SEO hosting is focused on developing a network of websites for a specific account after which they are then hosted on a certain class C IP address and finally, the backlinks are placed. These class C IP addresses are used by SEO hosting to push the website as high as it can through the search engine ranks. It has often been said that this technique is fail-proof. Long before this technique was developed, dummy blogs and sites were made to target specific keywords that were inserted for anchor text linking to the original site. It was then noticed that spam filters from Google would start to ignore these links that were hosted from the same class C IP as the main site. This is the reason why SEO hosting relies on multiple class C IP addresses to be successful.

The Ifs and Buts

There is no real proof that this works aside from the testimonials from people who have tried it and have said that it does work and that there was growth seen on their ranking.

Aside from those people, we also have seen some sort of proof. If you look at the patents and pending patent applications published by Google, you will see that links are being devalued when they are linked to and that the site linking to it are being hosted on the same IP range. Again, there may never be enough proof on this but this may very well indicate how these search engines rank sites.

The though comes out that related IPs and site optimization don’t go hand in hand. Webmasters nowadays often rely on having multiple IPs by having different web hosts for each server even if they do not exactly translate into savings.

Don’t believe all the hype just yet though because according to Google’s Matt Cutts, Google has never penalized any links to domains that are virtually hosted. If you ask him, it’s just a misconception.

And when we started to think that Google has finally reached the limits of its growing power in the on-line community, they quickly extinguish that thought by yet again releasing one of the tricks in their sleeves: the Google Operating System. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, you read it right,  Google has come up with their own operating system. Check Google OS Screenshots below.

Now, before we wonder if Apple or Microsoft should start looking for something that would topple down this new release that Google has, we should first see how Google OS works and how similar and/or different it is from the usual operating system that are now available in the market.
The Google OS is an extension of the Google Chrome browser. GoOs is light weight and will specifically target netbooks. It can run on ARM chips and as well with x86. It will run on top of Linux in a new window system. Hopefully, before the year ends, Google Os developers will have an open-source of the code made available for everybody and in mid-2010, the Google operating system will then be accessible to all interested users. That is why its developers will also create linkages with OEMs to produce a lot of netbooks that would use the Google operating system to meet the expected surging demand of the OS.

It all started with their snail looking Google Chrome browser. When its developers saw that it did well in the market and they noticed that most of the existing operating systems that people have been using were all designed before technology gave birth to the web, they decided to launch their very own Google operating system, an operating system that compliments the demands of the web.

Almost all of the applications in the OS that we are using are slowly becoming less and less useful because the web offers more powerful, accessible and easy to use applications. For example, why would you have to play files in your media player of you have sites like YouTube to do it for you. You don’t even have to worry about the video anymore because it is already provided there. What’s the use of the calculator in your computer if there are more powerful and state-of-the-art on-line versions that you could use? Why waste time saving texts, images, spreadsheets in your computer if you can do the same thing in the web?

There have been a lot of operating systems that were already developed that answer the questions above. However, there are some problems with the user interface being too complicated for everybody’s convenience (and by everybody I mean including those people who just have started learning to hold the mouse the right way). If Google can meet the expectations of a new OS that is more compatible with the web and at the same time answers the problems of both techie-wiz and straight-from-the-caves users, then the Google Operating System might just become the new craze in the web world.
Now, imagine. If the Google operating system does become successful in the netbooks, it would not take long before it can be integrated in all kinds of computers and maybe before that happens, Microsoft and Apple should start thinking either finding a new business or coming up with a new scheme that would put down the promising Google OS.

Microsoft recently launched their new search engine- Bing.com. The design of the site is really simple just like Live.com. When I tried to searched for keywords in which is my websites  has a good ranking in Google, I found out that only few are visible in Bing. 

I saw a newsletter from WebProNews with article about Bing.com. Matt Cutts[from Google] say something about Bing search engine result. According to Matt Cutts there is a irrelevant result for “matt cutts” keyword. You can see the article here. 

One thing I noticed with Bing is the speed of search. The speed is really fast but I am sure  if it has to do with their algorithm or in my internet connection.

Since it is still BETA, I guess they are still working to improved their new Search Engine. For now, Google is still the best search engine but i’m hoping that Bing will improve also so that Google will not be monopolizing the Search Engine Market.
