DOLE: November 27 and 28 is not a non-Working Holiday; Only in ARMM

Malacañang declared that November 27 and 28 is a non-working holiday ONLY in ARMM and not the rest of the country according to Proclamation No. 1808-A. It was clarified by Sec. Roque of DOLE that this holiday will not be observed in the other part of the Philippines.

They amended their earlier Proclamation No. 1808, which declared that this dates will be a regular holiday for the rest of the country.

BUT WHY? Is there any pressure from business tycoons? Or Just another Political Accommodation? What about Muslim’s from other part of the country? This are some questions raised in my mind from this action of the Malacañang.

I hope what ever reason is, they do it for the country not for their own benefit and there’s no hidden political agenda behind.
