Today, AdSense publishers are partaking there income in the two major AdSense products specifically “Adsense for Content” and “Adsense for Search”. “Adsense for Content” is the largely widespread AdSense product where it lets the publishers to create income from ads placed beside the web content. On the other hand, “AdSense for Search” permits the publisher to put a custom Google search engine in their website and govern income from ads shown next to search results. The income generated for these products may differ for each AdSense services.
AdSense publishers gain as much as 68% profit from “AdSense for Content” globally. Meaning, we are gaining 68% of our total charges that we have collected from the campaign posted in our websites while the other remaining percent go to Google’s as their income for maintaining Google AdSense. This includes improvement of new technologies and other related features that may help to boost our earnings. This partaking was not change since the released of “AdSense for Content” last 2003.
In “AdSense for Search” we are getting a 51% profit share. This is the search ads that shows coming for their operation. The 49% left behind return to Google cost. This comprises of the major expenses for research and development in making enhancement and AdWords technologies. The sharing of profits strategy remains the same since 2005.
Furthermore, there’s more for AdSense products like “AdSense for feeds”, “AdSense for games”, and “AdSense for mobile applications”. On these products, it is still hard to reflect the total costs since these products are rapidly growing hence Google are still studying the income generated from these products. This may differ from one another as the cost maintaining for this also varies.
I hope by providing this information helps you pull off more insights in partnership with Google. I personally think that our revenue shared with Google is very competitive.

Adsense could be a good source of income. However, a lot of bloggers are actually struggling to make a decent amount of money here. Well, this is quite understandable because not all blogs are created equal and got different traffic levels.
As a neophyte blogger, it would also be interesting to look into the Adsense monetizing model. Hopefully, someday I could be able to master the Adsense game.
By the way, I am Filipino too.
