I thought I could no longer write a post about my Mindanao Bloggers Summit experience since my full time job as well as my online business requires most of my time. However, I am in need of a phone right now, that’s why I am blogging this. I am kidding.

It was last October when I got the chance to attend the MBS3 held in Cagayan de Oro and hosted by Cagayan De Oro Bloggers, also known as CDO Bloggers. Though it was the third MBS, it was my first time to attend this summit. It has been said that first experience is the nicest experience, then I considered this experience as a memorable one. After all, I really enjoyed the said event and I look forward to the next summit which will be held in Zambonga City.

The theme for this year summit was “Mindanao Bag -uhon ang Pananaw”. It talks about how to change the way other people see Mindanao. One is by blogging about good things about Mindanao, so people will see Mindanao in different perspective.

We arrived at Pearlmont Inn at around 8:30, it is a good thing we’re not late. I and my companion need to wake – up early just to catch up the first trip from Camiguin going to Cagayan. We decided to spend our Friday night at Camiguin before going to the venue.

One of the nicest things in joining this summit is you can meet bloggers from different places in Mindanao. The program started with the welcome message from the Hon. Constantino Jaraula – the City mayor plus the message from Leslie Bassett and video greetings of Kristine Kenney the US Ambassador. Atty. Adel Tamano, also spoke on Leadership and Good Governance.

Our afternoon session is more on blogging talks with three great speakers namely: Ms. Aileen Apolo, Janetter Toral, and Lyle Santos. I was amazed on how Ma’am Janette Toral endorsed yahoo at the same time Aileen Apollo endorsing Google. I’ve had learned a lot, especially in making money online. A Big Thank You to Lyle.
