Yesterday I received comments from co – bloggers telling me that one of my articles is not an original and it was being copied from another site. At first, I disregard that comments because I thought it was just a spam comment. Today, I also received the same comments which are alarming that requires me to do something. When I read the entire comments, I found out that someone is reporting to Google about the copied article without any credits to original site/s. I was really shocked because I am not into a habit of copying any content from other resources, unless it requires me to do so, but of course with link love to the author.
He sent me the URL of the copied article from my blog and the original article from one of the famous blogs [Problogger.net]. When I checked it, I found out that the article is really a copy from that site and edited some of them. That article was written by someone from DIGITALPOINT, but I am not sure if this one is the right thread. I usually hired someone to write a blog post for me if I don’t have the time to write one. I would like to apologize to the original source of the copied article. I already deleted that article for that reason.
From that experienced I would like to share some tips on how to prevent this problem happened again. When buying articles you need to consider these:
* Check the background of the written- The more feedback the better
* Don’t buy a cheap article – Cheap article = POOR article
* Check the article before publishing it to your blog
* Don’t rely on CopyScape- Copyscape is not assurance of having a unique article
* Ask the writer if he just rewrites the article and asks for the source
Totally agrees. Since we all know that great articles are costly, PLR articles can be a great help especially for those low on budget. Do not forget to make adjustments here and there though since there is a high chance that the articles have been published as it is somewhere else (As said at the last point of the post).
@Monjey Magic- PLR articles is a good alternative but for me if you really a good writer or experienced in online marketing- you should write based on your experienced.
I loved reading this and I dont really like to read
