This has been an issue every time a Filipino Singer sings the Philippine National Anthem the Lupang Hinirang in the Philippines or abroad. The National Historical Institute(NHI) is not satisfy on how the way singers sung the Lupang Hinirang. NHI said that the singer is singing the National Anthem in their own version not that is against the Law.

How to sing the Lupang Hinirang? Actually there is an enacted law on this the R.A. 8491. According to this Law that  “Lupang Hinirang “shall be in accordance with the musical arrangement and composition of Julian Felipe.” Click here to play the right rhythm.

Our National Anthem is a symbol of our country and this should be sing properly just like other country did. The government also should take an action of this or else this will not stop. Many cases have been filed but no one is persecuted.
